Last Friday, on 29 July 2022, our Karlsruhe office turned into a mini campus again for a few hours. We at THE MAK'ED TEAM were all very curious when four students and their course director Prof. Dr Susanne Steimer from the Hochschule der Wirtschaft für Management Mannheim (HdWM) came to our office. There they presented their practical project, which was at the same time an examination. In the project the students devoted themselves, following a brief from THE MAK'ED TEAM, entirely to the creation of a sustainability check for the mid market. They were actively supervised by THE MAK'ED TEAM while working on it and developed our case study with great commitment. In their final presentation the students set out in a clearly structured way, using a roadmap, what a sustainability check for mid sized companies across all industries could look like. They finished by presenting a convincing sustainability check for mid sized companies that can be carried out in various forms, from a short check up to an individual workshop. Using well chosen questions and a traffic light system in the evaluation, the check shows a company clearly how sustainably it is currently positioned and in which areas.
After the thoroughly convincing and very clearly structured presentation, remaining questions were clarified and discussed animatedly in the group. THE MAK'ED TEAM has cooperated with HdWM since 2021, with a thematic focus on sustainable company management. We were very taken with this joint project too and are already looking forward to the next one.
