You have the right to request the immediate erasure of your personal data if one of the conditions under Article 17 GDPR is met. You may contact us by post or email to do so.

You may contact us by post or email to do so.
Right to object to processing based on legitimate interests and to direct marketing
In cases where we process personal data based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (i.e., for legitimate interests), you have the right to object at any time to the processing of your personal data for reasons arising from your particular situation. Unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing that override your interests, rights, and freedoms, or if we are processing your data for direct marketing purposes, we will cease processing your data (see Article 21 GDPR). You may contact us by post or email to do so.
A technical procedure used by you, such as a clear technical signal transmitted by your web browser (a "Do-Not-Track" signal), is also considered an objection in this sense.
If personal data is processed for direct marketing purposes, you have the right to object at any time to the processing of your personal data for such marketing; this also applies to profiling insofar as it is related to such direct marketing.
Right to withdraw consent
You have the right to withdraw any consent given for the collection and use of personal data at any time, with effect for the future. You may contact us by post or email to do so. The lawfulness of the processing carried out based on your consent prior to the withdrawal remains unaffected.
Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority
Without prejudice to any other legal remedies, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, particularly in the member state of your habitual residence, place of work, or the place of the alleged infringement, if you believe that the processing of your personal data violates data protection law.
SSL or TLS encryption
This website uses SSL or TLS encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content.
You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of your browser changes from "http://" to "https://" and by the lock symbol in your browser line.
When SSL or TLS encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.
Data collection on our website
Who is responsible for data collection on this website?
Data processing on this website is carried out by the website operator, THE MAK’ED TEAM GmbH & Co. KG.
How do we collect your data?
Your data is collected, on the one hand, because you provide it to us. This may, for example, be data you enter into a contact form. Other data is collected automatically by our IT systems when you visit the website. This is primarily technical data (e.g., internet browser, operating system, or time of access). This data is collected automatically as soon as you enter our website.
What do we use your data for?
Some data is collected to ensure the website functions correctly. Other data may be used to analyze your user behavior.
Analysis tools and third-party tools
When you visit our website, your browsing behavior may be statistically evaluated. This is primarily done using cookies and analysis programs. The analysis of your browsing behavior is generally anonymous; the browsing behavior cannot be traced back to you. You can object to this analysis or prevent it by not using certain tools. Detailed information on this and on your options to object can be found under "Analysis Tools and Advertising."
Cookies
Our websites use what are known as "cookies." Cookies do not cause any damage to your computer and do not contain viruses. They help make our website more user-friendly, effective, and secure. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and saved by your browser. Most of the cookies we use are "session cookies." They are automatically deleted after your visit. Other cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them. These cookies allow us to recognize your browser the next time you visit. You can configure your browser to inform you about the setting of cookies and only allow cookies in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for specific cases or in general, and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. If cookies are disabled, the functionality of this website may be limited. Cookies that are required to carry out the electronic communication process or to provide certain functions you wish to use (e.g., shopping cart function) are stored on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in storing cookies for the technically error-free and optimized provision of its services. Where other cookies (e.g., cookies for analyzing your browsing behavior) are stored, they are treated separately in this privacy policy.
Consent management with Cookie Script
This website uses Cookie Script consent technology to obtain your consent for the storage of cookies and the use of certain technologies, and to document this in compliance with data protection regulations. The provider is Objectis, UAB, Laisvėsstr. 60, LT-05120 Vilnius, Lithuania.
When you visit our website, a connection is established with CookieScript's servers to display the consent dialog. Your IP address is transmitted during this process. Your selection is then stored in your browser so that we can respect it during future visits and provide proof of the consent given or refused. The stored information remains until you delete it from your browser or request that we delete it. Mandatory legal retention obligations remain unaffected.
CookieScript is used to obtain the legally required consent for the use of cookies and similar technologies and to provide proof of that consent. The legal basis for this is Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR.
You can withdraw or change your consent at any time with future effect by reopening the cookie settings on this website.

- Hosting of files for downloads
- Appointment booking
- Newsletter subscription/unsubscription and distribution
- Hosting and data processing for the website chat feature

We have entered into a data processing agreement with HubSpot in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR.

HubSpot is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. Where necessary, data transfers are also based on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
You can view the service provider's privacy policy here: https://legal.hubspot.com/privacy-policy
Contact form, appointment booking, event registration, download forms
When you send us inquiries via our contact form, appointment booking tool, or event registration form, we store the information provided in the form, including your contact details, for the purpose of processing your request and handling any follow-up questions. We do not share this data without your consent. The processing of data entered into these forms is therefore based solely on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You may withdraw this consent at any time by sending us an informal email. The legality of any data processing carried out prior to your withdrawal remains unaffected. The data you enter in the contact form will remain with us until you request its deletion, withdraw your consent for storage, or the purpose for data storage no longer applies (e.g., after your request has been fully processed). Mandatory legal provisions—particularly retention periods—remain unaffected.
Newsletter
Newsletter registration uses a double opt-in process. After signing up, you will receive an email asking you to confirm your registration. Your email address will only be added to our distribution list once you have provided this confirmation.
We use your personal data only to manage your account and provide the products and services you have requested. From time to time, we would like to inform you about our products, services, and other content that may be of interest to you. To provide you with the requested content, we must store and process your personal data. You can unsubscribe from these notifications at any time via the link at the bottom of our newsletter.
HubSpot performs statistical surveys and analyses on our behalf as part of our newsletter distribution. This provides us with click and open rates—a statistical evaluation of whether the newsletter was opened and which articles, posts, or other links contained within it were clicked. To achieve this, our newsletters contain a "web beacon," a pixel-sized file that is retrieved from HubSpot's servers when the newsletter is opened. Additionally, we use bounce management to identify undeliverable newsletters—such as email addresses that may no longer exist—so that we can remove them from our distribution list.
When you open a newsletter, technical information such as browser and system details, your IP address, and the time of access are collected. This data is used to improve our services technically, as well as to analyze target groups and reading behavior based on access locations (determined via IP address) or access times.
While it is technically possible for this information to be linked to individual newsletter recipients, it is neither our intention nor that of our service provider, HubSpot, to monitor individual users. Instead, we use these insights exclusively to understand our users' reading habits and to tailor our content or send different content based on their interests.
Chat
To process your requests and for quality assurance purposes, chat content may be processed and stored by our service provider. Further information on this can be found in the HubSpot privacy policy, which is also referenced in the chat.
The data collected in this chat is subject to all provisions of our privacy policy.
