Under the motto "I will be the boss", Girls' Day took place at THE MAK'ED TEAM on 3 April 2025, an initiative of the Nuremberg Chamber of Commerce. On the day, 30 girls aged between 11 and 18 gained fascinating insight into the world of running a company, which they threw themselves into with energy and curiosity.

The girls took part in practical role plays and discussions, contributing their own ideas and shaping the day actively. They got to know the different facets of daily life as a business owner and manager and learned at first hand what it is like to take responsibility, work in a team and hold difficult conversations.

Our managing director Ann-Katrin Hardenberg gave the girls valuable insight into the challenges and opportunities of entrepreneurship. She encouraged them to pursue their entrepreneurial ambitions and showed that entrepreneurship knows no limits. The conversations gave the girls deeper insight and the chance to ask questions, voice their own ideas and explore new horizons.

All in all, Girls' Day was a valuable experience for the girls. It gave them not only insight into the world of entrepreneurship but also a real enthusiasm for a possible future as a business owner. They took away new ideas, greater confidence and the message that entrepreneurial success is possible for anyone. As a member of the Association of German Women Entrepreneurs (VdU e.V.) and as a company with two managing directors at the top, THE MAK'ED TEAM stands for equal opportunity in leadership and entrepreneurship.
